Muslim Women’s Association of Pittsburgh (MWAP) is a 501 ©, non-profit, faith-based organization which was founded in the early 1900s. MWAP is committed to serving the Pittsburgh community in regards to temporary shelter, food and resource referrals.

Few of Kind Store is owned and operated by the Muslim Women’s Association of Pittsburgh. The store sells hand made items by local women and artists such as jewelry, clothes, purses, crafts, and pottery. We also have a collection of books that demonstrate the beauty and diversity of Islam and Muslims.

Store revenues support the MWAP run shelter for needy women and families in Penn Hills, Pittsburgh, PA.

The shelter opened in 2015 and has (as of 2019) served approximately 200 needy families and women.
